HJL Custom Software, LLC wants everyone to be able to use www.hjltech.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard commonly used for ADA compliance.
What we’ve done
- Text and links meet WCAG contrast requirements, and links within text are underlined.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
- Menus, including dropdowns, open with the keyboard.
- Images have text alternatives, and pages use a clear heading structure.
- Pages work on phones and when zoomed.
- We test the site with automated accessibility tools when we make changes.
Known limitations
Our contact form is provided by Microsoft Forms, which follows Microsoft’s accessibility standards. If the form doesn’t work for you, email or call us and we’ll take your request directly.
