Effective October 30, 2026
HJL Custom Software, LLC (“HJL,” “we,” “us”) runs www.hjltech.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. It runs in Google’s Consent Mode with all consent set to “denied”, and we never change that setting. This means:
- Google Analytics does not set or read cookies on your device.
- It does not use advertising identifiers, and nothing is used for ads or remarketing.
- Your browser sends Google anonymous, cookieless signals, such as the page viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, and an approximate (city-level) location. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
Google processes this data under its own terms; see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Contact form, email and phone
Our contact form is hosted by Microsoft Forms. When you submit it, or email or call us, we receive the information you choose to give us, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and message. We use it only to respond to you and to discuss or provide our services. Form submissions are stored in our Microsoft 365 account and handled under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Other services the site loads
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. As with any web request, your browser shares your IP address with Google to download them. The site itself sets no cookies.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above that help us run the site and our business, or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and contact details as long as needed to respond to you and for ordinary business records, then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our account (no more than 14 months).
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing mailroom@hjltech.com. You can also block Google Analytics with browser privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date.
